Drinks you need to try during your next visit to Croatia (part 1 – soft drinks)
It's amazing how much you can learn about the country by consuming its delicacies.
Food and drinks you try during your trips can open a whole new world of flavor to you, teach you a lot about the country's history, and be a wonderful reminder of the time you had once you head home.
So here are some of the best-loved drinks in Croatia you can try during your next visit.
We'll start with alcohol-free options:
Cedevita – a 9 vitamin powder juice every Croatian kid adores (and their parents). It's pure magic just mix the powder with some water and you are ready to go, the orange flavor is a classic but nowadays there's lemon, red-orange, lime...
Cockta – another alcohol-free classic. Cockta has been around since the 50-ties and it's been having a sort of revival in the last couple of years. Think of cola but with a twist.
Amarena – a true cult drink in the Zadar region. Delicious juice made of maraska cherry's available as syrup or nectar. I would recommend an ice-cold nectar version during the summer heat.
Pipi – the true essence of laid back, go with the flow lifestyle we like in Dalmatia. Pipi is also the brand behind probably the most famous commercial in Croatian tv history (just google Ana Sasso pipi)
